ARTWORK TO HIGH POLY 3D MODELS

Original artwork, by renowned artist Alberto Dal Lago, was supplied to the team in Uganda. Working with orthographic sketches and paintings (for colour and texture references) our 3D modellers were able to faithfully recreate the characters of Joe Dever’s imagination. High resolution models and textures were created in zBrush.

PREPARING LOW POLY VERSIONS FOR GAME

The zBrush models went through retopology to make them efficient enough for performance on a mobile game. Hundreds of thousands of polygons were crunched to around 3000-8000 polygons per models. Textures were turned into normal maps and details was preserved while keeping models “light-weight” .
